A Talk on ‘Personal Branding’ at Annual Sales Conference of Lanka Canneries ‘MD’

Your Personal Brand is about a lot more than just what you say about yourself. It’s not all what you say, it’s all about what others say when you’re not there with them. In other words, it’s all about how others see you. It’s the way of cascading your image to the audiences where you live in. Like everything about you, your Personal Brand is unique.

Personal Branding is essential to every professional in the corporate world. It discovers your unique abilities, skills in other words what makes you special and unique. In fact, it describes the process by which individuals and entrepreneurs differentiate themselves and stand out from a crowd by identifying and articulating their uniqueness.

Lanka Canneries Limited which was established by Mr.R.H.Basset, a British Civil Servant in 1930’s. From the inception all products have been manufactured under stringent quality controls and have been sold under the brand name ‘MD’. The range of products grew in variety from jams to sauces, canned fruits, canned vegetables, cordials, pickles and chutneys. The heritage of 80 years in creating exotic products from fresh fruit make Lanka Canneries, Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturer, distributor and exporter of natural foods over 32 countries including USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and the Middle East.

The event was a full house event and attended by over 150 participants. The participants were impressed as many of them thanked to Ultimma and its Founder/Lead Trainer Prassanna Pathmanathan at the end of the session.
